Day-old baby abandoned at cemetery found

Kofi Hackman, the Good Samaritan who rescued the baby told journalist that he was attending to a nature's call at a section of the Cemetery when he heard an unusual noise in a bush nearby.

He became alarmed and traced the noise to the scene where he eventually saw a baby boy wrapped in a polythene bag lying beside a tomb.

He raised an alarm that attracted some neighbours and one of them, a middle aged woman helped in retrieving the baby from the tied polythene bag.

He was taken to the Clinic where he is currently receiving treatment.

The C.E.O of the Clinic, Madam Sarah Edith Kwofie who has become fond of the baby said she will be using the necessary process to see if the Social Welfare would give her the chance to adopt him.

Interestingly, the baby has been endeared to the Good Samaritan who has also expressed interest in adopting him saying, he has five biological daughters and would like to have a boy in addition. The culprit is yet to be traced.
