Ghanaians attack Boris Kodjoe for praising Mahama

Boris Kodjoe took to Facebook and extolled the President for his tremendous value in the empowerment of girls.

 

Some Ghanaians have fired salvos at German Ghanaian born actor Boris Kodjoe for commending President John Mahama for his role in women and girl child empowerment.

Boris Kodjoe shared a photo from his recent meeting with President John Mahama during the president’s visit to New York, on Facebook showering praises on the President.

But it appears his comment on Facebook received widespread condemnation and generated a mammoth debate on his wall from some Ghanaians.

The actor named Boris Frederic Cecil Tay-Natey Ofuatey-Kodjoe famously known for his roles as ‘Jason’ in the 2000 film Love and Basketball, expressed delight in meeting President Mahama.

He took to Facebook and extolled the President for his tremendous value in the empowerment of girls.

“Meeting with Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahama. Great man who sees tremendous value in the empowerment of girls and pushes hard to end child marriages in Ghana. “When you educate a woman you are effectively helping the community…” he said.
