"Nothing But Concert", Sampson Ahi On Dominic Nitiwul's Ruckus In Parliament

Hon. Sampson Ahi, Member of Parliament for Bodi, in the Western Region has come out to call the actions and utterances of Hon. Dominic Nitiwul, deputy Minority Leader of Parliament on Tuesday as “concert”.

In a report on PeaceFMOnline, Hon. Sampson Ahi is said to have likened the deputy Minority Leader’s actions and utterance on the floor of Parliament  to those in a concert. According to the report, the Minister reckoned that the scramble by the Minority in Parliament to associate the NDC with the smuggling of cocaine into the United Kingdom has clouded their sense of common judgment.

"{..they first linked this cocaine issue to Francisa Adjei, who campaigned for the President before the 2012 general elections and that was proven to be false. They then went on to say the lady brandished a diplomatic passport and that has also turned out not to be true...now look at what they are doing. They bring rice to the floor of Parliament.

“All these are meant to equate this cocaine arrest to that of a then sitting Member of Parliament (MP), Eric Amoateng, who was arrested and jailed in the US for smuggling drugs,” he said.

Hon. Dominic Nitwul caused a commotion and early dismissal of the Parliament by raising two bags of rice and comparing the weight of the two bags to the cocaine Nayeli Ametefe successfully smuggled through the Kotoka Airport's VVIP section unto a UK bound British Airways plane, during a debate on the 2015 budget.
