Minister consoles disaster struck Gushegu DCE

The Gushegu DCE lost his eight-year-old daughter, after his residence located in Chogu-Yapalisi, a suburb of Tamale caught fire in December last year.

Alhaji Limuna Mohammed-Muniru, Northern Regional Minister and some District Chief Executives (DCEs) in the region have paid a visit to Alhaji Alhassan Fuseini, Gushegu DCE to empathise with him after he lost his daughter and home in a blaze.The Gushegu DCE lost his eight-year-old daughter after his residence located in Chogu-Yapalisi, a suburb of Tamale caught fire in December last year.

Deputy Regional Minister, Alhaji A.B.A. Fuseini who was with the regional minister assured the DCE and his family of continuous support from the Northern Regional Coordinating Council (NRCC).

“Our mission here this morning is to console you and to see what support we can offer you to quickly rebuild the house for the family to move in and to alleviate your plight,” Alhaji Mohammed-Muniru said.

The Gushegu DCE, Alhaji Alhassan Fuseini received four packets of roofing sheets and some relief items from the National Disaster Management Organisation.

The NRCC and the DCEs presented also presented undisclosed amount of money to Alhaji Fuseini.Receiving the items, the Gushegu DCE said “You have really showed me love and I pray that we would continue to show love to one another in difficult times.”
