The current crisis in Libya and Syria has created an opportunity for human traffickers to get naïve young men and women by promising them a good life abroad.

The desire for young African youths to go overseas for “greener pasture” has opened a whole new line of business for human merchants.

Reports coming in from mashable say these human traffickers now use social media platforms like Facebook and Viber to get clients from poor nations of the world.

In recent weeks European countries have been battling with the challenge of the large influx of illegal migrants, and the high number of deaths recorded on the Mediterranean.

Mashable says the current crisis in Libya and Syria has created an opportunity for human traffickers to get naïve young men and women by promising them a good life abroad.

Some of these people pay as $3,000 to these traffickers.
