Juventus agree deal with Godfred Donsah - Report

The Champions League finalists have reportedly reached an agreement in principal to sign the Ghanaian on a four-year contract.

Italian media outlet Calciomercato has reported that Juventus have agreed a deal with Cagliari to sign Ghana U-20 midfielder Godfred Donsah this summer.

Rumours rifing on Thursday suggest that the Cagliari midfielder has been purchased by the Bianconeri, and will be sent out on loan next season to develop.

According to the report, Juve have agreed a €6 million fee for Donsah, and have reached an agreement in principal to sign him on a four-year contract.

English Premier League side West Ham were earlier this week, keen on signing the 18-year-old midfielder as a replacement for Alex Song.

But it now looks as if the Hammers have lost out on their key summer transfer target, although they may be able to move for the young midfielder on loan for a season, with the report stating that the Serie A champions and Champions League finalists are keen to send him out for the next campaign to guarantee consistent playing time to aid his development.
