A female student of the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) met her untimely death after she was stabbed multiple times by her boyfriend.

A brother of the deceased has said the gentleman had threatened his sister two days ago after an argument.

Confirming the incident to Accra-based Joy FM, Medical administrator at the Alpha Medical Centre, Dr. Godwin Attoh, said the student and another young man believed to be a taxi driver were brought to the hospital early Thursday morning with stab wounds.
He said despite efforts by doctors, the Level 300 Banking and Finance student passed on. The young man has, however, been resuscitated and is responding to treatment.
The medical doctor further explained that the stabbing occurred after a misunderstanding between the two lovers when the young man visited his girlfriend at the hostel.

He added that he got a call from the hospital but by the time he got to hospital, his sister had died.
Meanwhile, the body of the victim has been sent to the morgue pending further investigations by the Police.
