NDC, NPP clashes over DCE'S car in Fanteakwa

According to news reports, peeved NPP supporters from Begoro in the Fanteakwa district of the Eastern region barricaded the roads in the area in an attempt to prevent a driver of the district assembly from running away with the vehicle.

The group of angry youth alleged that the driver was following the orders of his boss, Mr. Fuseini Sbaabe when the caught wind of the ploy hence their decision.  The driver was asked to take the car to the district police station where it was revealed that he was taking the car to a washing bay to be washed before it was handed over to the incoming DCE.

However, members of the NDC who were not happy with the development organized their team and went to confront the NPP members over their actions.

But for the presence of the police at premise, there would have been chaos and violence
