I regret "all die be die" statement - Nana Addo

Nana Addo said he regretted the ''all die be die'' mantra before the 2012 elections.

Flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the 2016 election, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, said he has regretted his infamous ‘All-die-be-Die’ comment.

According to him, the statement which was a wakeup call on members of the NPP to resist attempts by their opponents to intimidate them especially as the nation prepares for general elections in 2012 was rather twisted by the opposition, NDC.

It would be recalled that the NPP flagbearer came under a barrage of verbal artillery attack from members of the ruling National Democratic Congress and civil society alike, after he charged party members at Koforidua to rise up against any form of intimidation and defend themselves in the 2012 electoral ‘battle’ if the NDC tries any communist inferior tactics.

But Nana Addo speaking on Starr FM said, "I regret being unable to fully explain "All Die Be Die and Yen Akanfo back then".
