NDC names campaign team in Ashanti Region
The names which include the Ashanti Regional Minister John Alexander Ackon and his deputy Andy Osei Okrah are expected to help the NDC in fulfilling the parties dream of harnessing one million votes in the region.

The ruling National Democratic Congress in Ashanti wishes to bring to the attention of the party supporters and the general public, the seventeen (17) man campaign Taskforce for the 2016 general elections.
They are as follows :
1.Hon. Andy Osei Okrah, Deputy Regional Minister and Campaign Coordinator.
2.Hon. Yaw Owusu Obimpeh, Regional Chairman.
3.Hon.Raymond Tandoh, Regional Secretary.
4.Alhaji Sani Abddulai, Regional Organiser.
5.Mr.Samed Akalilu, Regional Communication Officer.
6.Mr.Brogya Genfi, Regional Youth Organiser.
7.Hajia Ajara Saddique, Regional Women’s Organiser.
8.Hon.Muntaka Mubarak, MP, Majority Chief Whip -Member.
9.Hon.Nurudeen Hamidan, MCE, Asokore Mampong – Member.
10.Mr. George Abofra, Regional NDC Director of Elections- Member
11.Professor Kofi Annan, KNUST- Member
12. Dr Oteng Agyei, Former Energy Minister-Member
13.Madam Edith Amammo, Former Regional Deputy Treasurer-Member
14.Madam Ama Sarpomaa, Former Regional Women’s Organiser- Member
15. Mr.Obeng Adutwum- Member.
16. Hon. John Alexander Ackon, Regional Minister-Member co-opted.
17.Hon.Kwame Peprah, Former Finance Minister- Member co-opted.
In addition, the party has formed five main campaign committees to help prosecute the agenda One Million Votes and a one touch victory for President Mahama.
The Regional Campaign Coordinator is confident in the ability and reservoir of knowledge, the 17-member team brings onboard towards the much anticipated one touch landslide victory of the NDC in December.
Hon.Andy Osei Okrah urges all party executives and supporters to accord the Regional Campaign Team the needed assistance to make the NDC victory a reality.
The Campaign Team also announces that Saturday, 8th October 2016 has been slated for the regional campaign launch at the Jubilee Park, Kumasi.
The Regional Campaign Coordinator also directs that all the constituencies carry on their campaign launches in consultations with the regional campaign team.
