My tweet was misinterpreted - Stan Dogbe

The media had earlier reported that Stan Dogbe referred to the staff of the presidency Thursday as “ordinary workers” of the Flagstaff House and not presidential staffers.

A presidential staffer,Stan Dogbe has accused the New Patriotic Party for circulating false information about him on social media after commenting on the accident that injured 15 presidential staff at the Ako Adjei interchange.

In a tweet, he stated that, "It's clear the NPP folks are not alone in circulating a pix of me commenting on yday's accident, they planned it with StarrFM. Pathetic!"

A police bus carrying staff from the presidency tumbled over the Ako Adjei interchange on Thursday morning. 15 people were injured.

The incident led to a massive traffic pile up as commuters were halted to enable emergency services reach victims of the accident.

Speaking in an interview with Pulse.com.gh, the PRO of the Police hospital, Corporal Faustina Nunekpeku said no police personnel was on board the vehicle.

She added that "15 people were brought here. They have been treated and discharged. We are trying to admit two to stabilise them. Their condition is okay, but they need to be monitored. One has also been sent to Korlebu".

Stan Dogbe reacting to the news said media reports on the matter have been exaggerated.

He added that only two individuals were affected.

Stan has, however, deleted the tweet from his account.
