Ningo-Prampram parliamentary seat is not “hereditary” – Sam George tells E. T. Mensah

The Member of Parliament has occupied the constituency seat since 1992

 

Presidential staffer, Sam George who has declared his intention to contest for the Ningo-Prampram Parliamentary seat in the upcoming National Democratic Congress primaries has indicated that he is not afraid to contest incumbent E.T. Mensah.

The Member of Parliament has occupied the constituency seat since 1992 as no aspirant has been able to defeat him in neither the primaries nor the parliamentary elections.

In an interview on NEAT FM’s Ghana Montie, Sam George insisted that he will win the primaries saying, the Ningo-Prampram seat “does not belong to E.T. Mensah” neither is it “hereditary”.

Sam George stated that E.T.Mensah has done exceptionally well, however the youth want a change.

“He [E.T. Mensah] must go… I am not afraid to contest E.T Mensah. The youth want change so we must campaign for change… God will make a way where there seems to be no way. He will make me a winner. I will not promise what I cannot do for my constituency. They know what I am capable of doing,” he said.
