Sack Kwahu south DCE -NDC Eastern executives to Prez

"The constituency executives have a case."

The NDC regional executives will be making an attempt this morning to seek bail for five Mpraeso NDC constituency executives who are in police custody.

"We have procured the services of our legal counsel for us to legally go through the process of securing bail." NDC Eastern Regional secretary Oliver Kevor told Pulse.com.gh.

The Mpraeso executives were remanded for allegedly attacking the Kwahu South DCE, Joseph Omari Sasu last week.

The NDC executives are alleged to have launched the attack with hammers and other tools when the DCE was in his office.

There has been bad blood between the two parties for some time now, with the constituency executives accusing the DCE of abandoning the party members in the constituency and displaying unruly conduct.

Following the arrest of the constituency executives, all NDC constituency chairmen have closed down their offices demanding the five be released and the DCE sacked from office.

Oliver Kevor told Pulse.com.gh "our hope is that the president listens to what the constituency chairpersons are saying, so that there will be peace in Mpraeso."

He said "the constituency executives have a case and we think that the story has been turned against them."

Meanwhile the Atiwa constituency chairman, Johnson Amoh is accusing the Eastern regional minister Antwi Bosiako  Sekyere of working together with Joseph Omari Sasu to undermine party executives in Mpraeso. He said they do not trust the regional minister to find a solution to the impasse.

"He lacks the ability to find amicable settlement to the growing concerns of the poor conduct of some DCE's."
