Addressing a press conference on Thursday, December 29 in Accra the 2016 flagbearer of the party Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom said the party will keep track of all the promises the NPP made during the campaign season and ensure they are fulfilled.

Some promises made by the NPP include the one-district, one-factory; one-village; one dam; the revamp of the NHIS amongst others.

He also urged the NPP to restore the confidence which citizens have lost in the country’s democratic system.

“It has become clear whether it is the NPP in government or the NDC that we improve, and then we come back. This see-saw, forward and backward growth in development has been a problem and for the ordinary Ghanaian it has been making them lose confidence in the democratic process,” he noted.

He added that the “forward and backward movement” must cease for a continuous growth of the country.
