NPP Government Nana Addo appoints new Deputy Director General of NADMO

A letter dated 14th April also asked Mr. Amedonu to indicate his acceptance or otherwise of his appointment within 14days upon receipt of the letter.

The 2012 Parliamentary candidate of Ashaiman on the ticket of the ruling New Patriotic Party Seji Saji Amedonu has been appointed Deputy Director General of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) by President Nana Akufo-Addo.

A letter sighted by PulseGhana stated that “President Akufo-Addo Pursuant to section 20(1) of the National Disaster Management Act,2016 (927) appointed Mr Seji Saji Amedonu to act in his capacity as deputy Director General of NADMO pending receipt of the constitutionally required advice of the governing council of the Organisation.”

The said letter dated 14th April also asked Mr. Amedonu to indicate his acceptance or otherwise of his appointment within 14days upon receipt of the letter.

Nana Addo further used the opportunity to congratulate the new boss on his appointment.

Seji Saji Amedonu joined the NPP in 1992 at the Training College.

In 2002, former President J. A. Kufour appointed him a member of the
President’s committee on the review of Educational Reforms.

He is currently a member of the Research and Communication Committee
of the NPP in the Ashaiman constituency and also the secretary of the
Greater Accra regional NPP Research and Intelligence Committee.
