The election of the a parliamentary candidate for the area in the Greater Accra Region was put on hold following chaos that rocked the processes somewhere last year.

Information picked up indicates that cool heads have still prevailed with seeming tension among various camps within the constituency.

Meanwhile former Constituency Chairman Theophilus Tetteh, who is alleged to be  loyal to one of the factions, failed to turn up for the vetting of prospective candidates.

But party’s Director of Elections Dr. Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah noted there was a communication from the regional chairman Ishmeal Ashiettey indicating Mr. Tetteh had officially  written to the party on his absence from the vetting but the committee is yet to receive the said letter and take a conclusive decision on his fate.
