Some aggrieved men suspected to be members of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Tuesday, 25 April besieged the office of the Bawku West District Assembly in the Upper East Region and destroyed some properties.

The move was to register their displeasure with President Akufo-Addo’s choice of District Chief Executive nominee.

Reports say the men, with sticks and machetes destroyed some desktop computers, louvre blades and furniture.

They allegedly went ahead to the private residence of Zebilla MP Frank Fuseini, who is also the Deputy Upper East Regional Minister, and vandalised his gate.
