I'll rate Mahama 4 over 10 - Badu Akosa

“There must be a sense of urgency. He has not shown that urgency and he should come and be sincere with the people, especially with the energy issue"

Prof. Agyemang Badu Akosa

A leading member of the opposition Convention People's Party (CPP), Prof. Agyemang Badu Akosa has stated that president John Dramani Mahama has failed as a leader over the past three years.

Giving a verdict of the John Mahama-led administration, Prof. Agyemang Badu Akosa said “I’ll rate Mahama four over 10," adding that the president has performed below average, specifically with the energy crisis which is currently taking a toll on businesses.

He said Mahama has not been sincere with Ghanaians even though he has consistently indicated he wants to fix the power crisis instead of managing it.“There must be a sense of urgency. He has not shown that urgency and he should come and be sincere with the people, especially with the energy issue", he said on Accra-based Kasapa Fm.The renowned Ghanaian doctor-cum-politician was also of the view that all is not lost for Mahama because in politics a day can be “a turning point.”
