The disappointed Youth from NDC crossing over to NPP said they are disappointed at the actions of the District Police Commander in Aflao, Supt Abanga Caesar and the Regional Minister, Helena Adjoa Ntoso for conspiring to disorganized a legally planned Demonstration .

According to the Organiser, Robert Tetteyfio Adjase, "We felt been neglected by the NDC government in the Volta Region as members of NDC and have decided to crossover to NPP. As the constitution of Ghana permits, we are to notify the security agency concerning any planned demonstration of which we have written to them and have been assured to have it on the said date."

He said, "two days before the demonstration we contacted the various security agencies of which they assured us of maximum protection. But the unfortunate thing happened a day before the demo, when the Volta Regional minister and the district police commander filed an injunction at Aflao Magistrate Court at 3:00 pm and the court also serving us around 6pm.
