Local alcoholic beverage giant, Kasapreko Company Limited, has target the U.S market, signaling sign of production growth.
Kasapreko targets US market
The company's Managing Director said the move is to keep the brand not only in Ghana but showcase it to the world
Kasapreko is the 37 most profitable business in Ghana, according to the 2015 Ghana Club 100 rankings.
The Managing Director of the company, Richard Adjei, told a group of MBA students from America’s Harvard Business School who paid the company a visit in Ghana that the goal is to expand the brands reach.
“Our goal is also not to keep these brands only in Ghana and Africa, but showcase to the world what Ghana has,” Adjei said
“Once we were able to crack the South African market, which is a highly westernised and modernised country with very stringent processes and competition, we know we can get into other countries like the USA,” he added.
Kasapreko has expanded its operations to Nigeria, South Africa and other African countries.
The company recently unveiled a 70-million-dollar ultra-modern bottling plant, with four high speed and quality assurance production lines, capable of churning out nearly 120,000 bottles of beverages per hour.
