Andre Ayew despite injury worries  is still rated the fifth joint highest African scorer in the English Premier League, having scored five goals thus far.

Sadio Mane of Senegal is the highest African scorer with 13 goals for Liverpool, followed by Islam Slimani from Algeria, having bagged seven goals for the champions Leicester City.

The deputy skipper of the Black Stars who has been struggling all season due to injury troubles can at least boast of the five scored thus far to make him one of the top scoring Africans in the English Premier League.

Andre Ayew is tied with last season's PFA Player of the season, Ryad Mahrez of Algeria on five goals, while trailing, Ivorian attacker Wilfred Zaha and Benik Afode by a goal
