Africa U-17 Nations Cup Black Starlets face Gabon on Wednesday evening

The national U-17 team of Ghana are onthe verge of booking a place in the last four of the CAF U-17 Championship

Ghana will qualify for the semi finals of the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations if they manage a victory against Gabon on Wednesday at the Stade the Franceville.

The Back Starlets sold out a scintillating performance when they massacred Cameroon 4-0 in their opening group A game on Sunday, while the hosts Gabon suffered a 5-1 humiliating defeat against Guinea in front of their home fans.

A win will send the Black Starlets to the semi-finals of the CAF U-17 Champions and hand them a spot in the FIFA U-17 World Cup later in the year.

Paa Kwesi Fabien's charges following their thrilling performance has been tipped as tournament favourites by legend Kalusha Bwalya.

The kickoff time is 5:30pm on Wednesday (today)
