Black Satellites lost 2-1 in the first leg of the Africa Youth Championship qualifier against Ethiopia on Sunday.

Mohammed Ome scored twice, with goals coming in the 4 and 9 minutes of the first half to cushion Ethiopia, entering into the second half.

However, Jonah Osabutey got the consolation goal for the Black Satellites in the second half, ahead of the 2nd leg in Ghana.

The Winner of the two-legged tie will advance into the final round of the qualifiers where all 8 winners will make it to the 2017 AYC tournament to be staged in Zambia.
