Ex-Ghana Premier League top scorer joins second-tier side Samatex

Former Ghana Premier League top scorer Alex Asamoah has made a transfer move to the GN Bank Division One League

Asamaoh will be at the Samreboi based club until the end of the season as the deal has been confirmed by the club.

The forward who last season played for BA United in the top-flight was in the stands when his new side lost 0-1 at home to Liberty Professionals last Saturday in the round of 16 of the 2016 MTN FA Cup.

The 30 year-old is expected to make his debut on Wednesday when his team host Elmina Sharks in the GN Bank Division One League.

Asamoah had previously had stints with Berekum Arsenal, Ashanti Gold, Asante Kotoko, Aduana Stars and Algerian side ES Setif.
