According to reports, the Ghanaian duo have sought permission from the technical handlers of the team to take some rest following an exhaustive English premiership season before rejoining their clubs for the pre-season workouts.

According to the report, Leicester City’s Daniel Amartey has also requested to be excluded from the friendlies.

Meanwhile, Leicester City, West Ham and Swansea have all reportedly written to the Ghana FA asking for the exclusion of their players but Ghana FA is yet to grant the request.

The Black Stars will face Mexico at the Houston Dynamo Stadium before locking horns with USA three days later at the Pratt & Whitney Stadium in East Hartford, Connecticut.
