Ghana skipper to seal Besiktas deal this week agent confirms

Asamoah Gyan is expected to make a return to Europe with the Turkish giants Besiktas

The 30-year-old joined Shanghai SIPG in the Chinese League in January 2015, after the Africa Cup of Nations.

However, Gyan has been battling with injuries and has not enabled him to play consistently for Shanghai SIPG, who spent huge sums to secure his signature from Al Ain, hence compelling them to sign Hulk from Zenit Saint Petersburg to give them options in attack

It is likely Asamoah Gyan is going to get limited playing time and according to his agent several other clubs are knocking at his door, but Besiktas are leading the race to secure his signature on a loan move.

"Many clubs were chasing Asamoah Gyan on loan but for now, he will play in Turkey," Kamil told Kickgh.com

"Asamoah will arrive in Turkey this week to complete Besiktas switch [after all parties agreed to the terms of the contract]" he added.
