Flings set to compete for Ghana at the IAAF World Indoor Championships

Flings Owusu-Agyapong represents Ghana alongside Sean Antwi at the 2018 IAAF World Indoor Championships

Ghana’s female sprinter Flings Owusu Agyapong has booked her place to compete for Ghana at the 2018 IAAF Indoor Championships to take place in Birmingham,UK

The 29 year old will be representing Ghana for third time at the World Indoor Championships as she did so in 2012 and 2015.

Flings Owusu-Agyapong who is based in the USA qualified for the 2018 Indoor Championships after making the 7.30 seconds 6Om pass mark by clocking 7.26

She has the personal best of 7.18 seconds.

Long distance runner Sean Antwi has also booked his place compete in the men’s 60m for Ghana after meeting the pass mark of 6.63 by clocking 6.56 in the season.

Sean Antwi will be representing Ghana at the World Indoor Championships for the first time.

The event will take place from 1 to 4 March,2018 at Birmingham,UK
