Black Stars coach laments over ‘no money’ syndrome

Avram Grant has registered his frustration over the issue of lack of funds to support the activities of the Senior National Male Football Team of Ghana.

Ghana were held to a 1-1 draw by Uganda on Saturday in the final hurdle of the Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers.

And Avram Grant, who had complained about his team’s preparation for the tie, disclosed in the post-match presser that the Sports Ministry failed to make money available to scout the Black Stars opponents for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers- a situation that would affect his job.

“I asked for scouts but I was told there was no money , I don’t want to talk about whether there is a fight between the Ministry and the Ghana Football Association(GFA) or not, but  I want to work  as a professional  which is to  scout on my opponents  but we couldn’t because we didn’t have money for flighthe Avram Grant told the press.
