Coach says Ghana should have beaten Mozambique

"I thought we should have won today," Grant told the press afterwards. "We had enough chances to win the game but we couldn't score, but at the end of the day we took one point.

Ghana coach Avram Grant has claimed that his side should have beaten Mozambique to take away all three points on Sunday afternoon.

Mozambique failed to take their home ground advantage when they drew 0-0 against Ghana in the second leg of their Group H, 2017 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier at Estadio do Zimpeto in Maputu.

"I thought we should have won today," Grant told the press afterwards. "We had enough chances to win the game but we couldn't score, but at the end pf the day we took one point. We have ten points so it now depends on us to qualify and that is what we wanted.

"We played to win the game and created a enough chances. We played just almost like the first leg and had to do few changes in the tactics. We played to win but you cannot always win your games."
