2018 Sprite Ball groups unveiled
The draw for the 2018 Sprite Ball was held live in the studios of Kwese Ghana in Labone during the programme "Court side".

A draw was held live in the studios of Kwese Ghana in Labone during the programme "Court side".
Sixteen schools qualified for the boys division, whereas the girls division had 10 schools vying for the top prize.
Here is the breakdown of the various groups and what to expect as each of the schools embark on a journey to see them emerge national high school basketball champions.
Group A
Mfantsipim
Presec-Osu
Keta Senior High
Takoradi Technical Institute
The four time champions in the last two editions have started in grandma style. Looking at this group Presec-Osu will not be a bad side to start with. However, a repeat of the 2012 final is on the cards with Mfanstsipim facing Keta Senior High
Group B
St John's
Aquinas
Prempeh College
KSTS
This will be tricky for all those in it. ST John's school were quite impressive in the last time round. However, the have to be aware of the rest who could have been impressive in previous editions.
Group B
Pope John
Presec-Legon
T.I Ahmass
St Augustine
A repeat of last year's quarter final clash between Pope John and ST Augustine is on our hands. Presec Legon and TI Ahmass will need to put in some good work to surpass these two
Group D
Opoku Ware
Sacred Heart
Mawuli senior
Adisadel College
Opoku Ware as champions will look make it a point to instill their dominance in such a group. Mawuli and Sacred Heart have proven to be dark horses over the years as they both made it to the quarter finals last year
Group A
Wesley Girls
A Wesley Girls
WASS
Ahantaman]
Ti Ahmass
Wesley Girls managed to were champions in the previous edition and will seek to make it a point to keep winning. However, two time champions TI Ahmas will be in to offer strong competition.
Group B
Kumasi Senior High School
St mary
Aggrey Memorial
Nkawkaw
Awudome
Two time winners Aggrey Memorial will be in to prove that they are the school with the track record in the girls' division after making it to six finals and winning two out of them.
Last year's finalists Kumasi Girls are also back to see if they can win it this time.
The Sprite Ball championship will be held from 4th to 6th January,2018
