Record winners Mftanstipim suffer disastrous defeat in the hands of Presec-Osu

Mftantsipim given the shock of their lives as they were humiliated by Presec-Osu in the Sprite Ball Championship opener

It was day 1 if the Sprite Ball Championship where four time winners Mfantsipim School looked nothing like their pedigree. Mfantsipim School on their first day had the shock of their lives as they were humbled by Presec-Osu 45-14.

That alone was not the surprise of the day as Champions Opoku Ware went up against perinnial dark horses Sacred Heart and they as well could not stand the test of time. The team were tied at half time by 19-19 but in the second half they were torn apart by Sacred Heart 38-27.

However, Mfantsipim redeemed themselves by beating Takoradi Tertiary Institute 18-0.
