For footballers, it is incredibly difficult to look at a footballer for a fierce rival and not let the rivalry bleed out beyond the sports competition and ruin a possible friendship.

Udinese midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu and Juventus versatile player Kwadwo Asamoah have proven that the exact opposite can take place. Over many years of playing for the Black Stars of Ghana, the duo have become great friends and pull for one another on and off the pitch.

"Nice to see my bro after our game against Juventus @asamoahkwadwo," Badu posted on his Instagram page, moments after Udinese played against Juventus in an Italian Serie A match on Sunday afternoon.

Juventus coach Max Allegri opted for Alex Sandro to Asamoah who has played ten games for the Old Ladies this season.

The match ended in a 1-1 stalemate after Leonardo Bonucci scored a 60th minute equaliser, as Udinese held Juventus to their first draw of the season.

Udinese took the lead at the packed Dacia Arena with Duvan Zapata and threatened to add more, but Bonucci made up for his earlier error by nodding in a Paulo Dybala free kick.
