The Black Stars skipper who was sidelined by injury returned to feature for Al Ahly as a second half substitute.

Asamoah Gyan who sustained muscle injury last month returned to have a part to play as his side Al Ahli piped Sharjah by a goal to nil on Friday.

Gyan, 31 came on in the 62 minute to replace Waleed Hussain.

The Ghana captain is expected to start next Friday when Al Ahli host Al Ittihad Kalba in another league clash.
