Avram Grant names squad for Egypt game with two debutants

Andre Ayew returns to the Black Stars squad as Grant names two new faces for the FIFA World Cup clash against Egypt.

The 23-man squad for the Black Stars game featured two new faces for the game against Egypt on Sunday, November 13, 2016.

Alhassan Wakaso who plays for Portuguese club Rio Ave F.C was called up into the Black Stars team for the first time with English Championship player Andy Yiadom also earning a debut call-up. Yiadom plays for Barnsley.

Black Stars vice-captain Andre Ayew returns following his injury that saw him miss the games against Uganda and South Africa.

The Ghana team will start their pre-match camp in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Sunday, November 6, 2016. Avram Grant and his team will depart the UAE on Friday, November 11, 2016 For the game at Borg El-Arab in Egypt.

The Black Stars drew their first game in Group E against Uganda and will seek for their first win in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Ghana are in Group E with Egypt, Uganda and Congo.
