Avram Grant returns to Ghana after GFA's fury

Head coach of the Ghana senior national team the Black Stars, has arrived in the country after the Ghana FA expressed their displeasure of him spending too much time in Europe

The head coach of the senior national team of Ghana was given one month leave in December by the Ghana Football Association but overstayed his time off work with the excuse of monitory Ghana football internationals in Europe.

PulseSports exclusively revealed the content of a letter addressed to Black Stars coach with the Ghana Football Associating insisting the Israeli return to the country as soon as possible as he leave days were over.

The letter further explained how Grant should have reported to duty in Accra in January but was handed additional days due to a League Managers Association conference away from Ghana.

The Ghana Football Association who stated in their letter to Avram Grant he needed to return to Ghana and ‘monitor some of the players in the national leagues’ confirmed on Sunday morning the former Chelsea coach has arrived in the county.

The confirmation further revealed details that the Black Stars coach will attend the Ghana Premier League game between Inter Allies and Dreams FC in Tema on Sunday afternoon.
