Ex-Barcelona striker Ellie N'Dekre eyes Black Stars call up

Born to Ivorian parents but adopted by a Ghanaian businessman, N'Dekre has represented Cote' d'Ivoire at the under-20 level.

Former Barcelona B attacker Elie N'Dekre says he is open to representing Ghana should he be given a call-up.

The 24-year-old was one of La Masia's top players, scoring 57 goals for the famous Barcelona Under-12, 15, 17 and 18 teams.

Born to Ivorian parents but adopted by a Ghanaian businessman, N'Dekre has represented Cote' d'Ivoire at the under-20 level.

"He [N'Dekre] feels much more of a Ghanaian that Ivorien. The fact that he was raised by Ghanaian parents makes him feel more Ghanaian, and it is his dream to play for the Black Stars," a source close to the player exclusively told Pulse.com.gh

Elie N'Dekre was brought to Spain from Abidjan by his parents at the age of five years old in 1997. His footballing skills then caught the attention of Barcelona who signed signed him at age 8.

He has also featured in the academy of top clubs like Paris Saint Germain and Sevilla F.C., before signing with Czech Republic club Bohemians 1905. In 2010 he went to Deportivo Alaves, a Spanish league 2 club.

Elie Moises later joined Esperence De Tunis in 2011 and two years later, he signed for Algerian giants JS Kabylie in January 2013. , but agreement was not reached. Elie Moises signed with Balzan F.C. In January 2013.
