Ghana to face Guinea on Saturday in France

The Black Stars will take on their Guinean counterparts on Saturday May 28 in an international friendly.

The game forms part of the senior national team’s preparation towards next month’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mauritius.

The match will also give the Coach Avram Grant the opportunity to assess some players who will be handed call ups into the team.

“Ghana will play against Guinea in France. We have been keeping eyes on several players like Inaki Williams, so this is the opportunity for them to be assessed. Also since it is a FIFA day of friendly it would be a fine chance for us to test our strength,” George Afriyie, the Chairman of the Black Stars management committee said.

Ghana is leading Group H with 10 points and a point in Mauritius will seal their place at next year’s AFCON in Gabon.
