Black Stars coach Avram Grant has named his starting XI for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mozambique on Sunday.

The manager who has been troubled by injuries for the international break made some changes in the midfield and upfront in the absence Mubarak Wakaso who joined Asamoah Gyan on the sidelines ahead of the second fixture due to injury.

Grant kept Razak Brimah in goal with Harrison Afful, Jonathan Mensah, John Boye and Abdul Baba Rahman all keeping their positions in defence.

Alfred Duncan and Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu come in for the injured Mubarak Wakaso and Frank Acheampong with Jefferey Schlupp getting a starting place in midfield as Christian Atsu drops from the starting XI.

Ebenezer Assifuah partners Jordan Ayew upfront leaving no place in the starting XI for Abdul Majeed Waris.
