Inter Allies CEO Delali Senaye elated with Evans Mensah's call-up

"I think it is a good development for the player. He is young, still learning and I hope he will come there as a good student and learn from his senior colleagues" - Delali Senaye

The 18 year-old silky winger had his debut call-up on Tuesday as he will be replacing injured Chicago Fire’s winger David Accam.

However, the CEO of the Tema based club believes that Mensah’s call-up was as a result of his splendid display in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.

“I think it is a good development for the player. He is young, still learning and I hope he will come there as a good student and learn from his senior colleagues,” Senaya told Joy FM.

“It is a good opportunity to see that with hard work you will be able to reach the top.”

He added: “It is too early for anybody to celebrate this news. He’s been given an opportunity to exhibit his talents over there.”

“I hope he will take advantage of this opportunity, if he does a good job then the young ones can learn from his hard work.”

Evans Mensah has played four games scored one goal, provided one assist and won three man of the match awards in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
