Zamalek pay Junior Agogo to avoid points deduction

The Egyptians giants have made part payment of monies owed the ex-Ghanaian striker

The 36-year-old former Ghana international joined Zamalek from English side, Nottingham Forest in 2008, but terminated his contract nine months later over unpaid salaries and reported the club to the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS).

CAS ruled that Zamalek should pay Agogo 807‚000 Euros, but Zamalek as of last two months had paid 250‚000 Euros.

It is now reported that Zamalek have paid additional $50,000 as a way to avoid the points deduction threat for refusing to pay Junior Agogo.
