A statement from Tagoe’s Baby Jet Promotions read:

“We have lost a dear brother, a friend and valued colleague. We all know how proud he was of his accomplishments and how he supported the sports of boxing, having travelled across the length and breadth of the world with boxers and until recent guided his cousin Emmanuel Tagoe (GAME BOY) to rise nearer to the world title after he trained him to annex the WBA International Lightweight Title since signing on to Baby Jet Promotions.

“Our grief and confusion at this time are compared to what hit the boxing fraternity earlier this year when Kotey Alloway left us to his Maker. Our hearts and prayers go out to family and the boxing fraternity.Akesse Rest in Peace.”
