“My career is over" - Floyd Mayweather retires

“Now I just want to spend time with my family.”

Floyd Mayweather

Undefeated champion, Floyd Mayweather seems to have no desire to reach a half-century as he said in his in-ring interview: “My career is over, that’s official.

“You’ve got to know when to hang it up. I’m close to 40 now.“There’s nothing left to prove in the sport of boxing. Now I just want to spend time with my family.

It's my time to hang 'em up. I've been in the sport for 19 years. I've made great investments and I'm financially stable. Records are made to be broken.

Maybe we can find another Floyd Mayweather. Now I want to a spend time with my family. I am leaving the sport with all my faculties. I'm still smart, I'm still sharp. I've accomplished everything. There's nothing more to accomplish in the sport. For all the fans who call me TBE, I thank you."
