Former Hearts of Oak goalie joins Ethiopian side Dedebit

Clement Ashittey will be playing in the Ethiopian league which kicks off in October.

The Ghanaian penned down a two year deal with the Addis Ababa based side ahead of the upcoming Ethiopian Premier League which has been scheduled to kick start on October 29.

Ashittey has already started pre-season with hithe Ethiopian side and he is looking forward to carve a niche himself at his new found club.

The 21 year-old goalie four seasons ago was the number one man for Hearts of Oak’s junior side before he was promoted to the club’s senior team the following season during coach David Duncan’s era.

Ashittey was then transferred to Amidaus Professionals in the 2013/14 league, he has also had short stint at South African side Bidvest Witsel.
