English Football Emirates FA Cup arrives in Ghana

The official sponsor of the FA in England as part of creating worldwide awareness about the competition has sent the trophy to Ghana

Emirates has taken the prestigious FA Cup to Ghana on a tour of Africa to create massive awareness about the competition.

The Emirates FA Cup after visiting Ghana on a 2-day tour will proceed to Nairobi in Kenya after a short layover in Dubai.

The trophy, accompanied by Emirates FA Cup ambassador and former England international player, David James, travelled on flight EK787 from Dubai to Accra today and will continue its journey to Kenya after a two-day tour visit to Ghana.

The airline has a number of major sporting sponsorship deals, including with Real Madrid, Arsenal and AC Milan in the football industry, and the US Open tennis.
