Despite star signings in the summer such as Paul Pogba and the appointment of Mourinho, the Red Devils have lacked sharpness.
United have also suffered a number of injuries throughout their squad.
And according to The Times, 35-year-old Zlatan Ibrahimovic feels the approach in training is responsible for his and the team’s poor form.
The experienced Swede accepts he has lost sharpness since leaving Paris Saint-Germain earlier this year.
However, Ibrahimovic is said to think United’s lack of aerobic work in training is partly to blame for that.
Mourinho apparently prefers to do the bulk of sessions at Aon Training Complex with the ball.
As a result, the Red Devils have collectively covered the least ground of any Premier League club this season.
Former Barcelona and Inter Milan star Ibrahimovic, who worked with Mourinho at the San Siro, has his own personal physiotherapist in Manchester too.
