Santa Ayew spreads Christmas love to hundreds of children

Andre Ayew and his Swansea City teammates showed some love to children at a party at the Liberty Stadium

Ghanaian player Andre Ayew and his Swansea City teammates took time off their busy schedule to share some Christmas love with children during a special party at the Liberty Stadium.

The party was for hundreds of children whose 2015 was mostly spent at the Dyfed Ward of Morrison hospital. Other youngers who had a troubled and difficult time in the year under review were also invited to the party.

The children spent fun times with the Swansea City players as Andre Ayew and co brought smiles on the faces of these children like Santa does. The players took pictures, signed photo graphs and spent lots of time in conversation with these children.

Swansea City defender Angel Rangel said at the party:

“Christmas is a really special time of the year and we know how much the children enjoy the annual party.

“I've been to quite a few of these parties since I arrived at the club back in 2007, and every year I see the players enjoying themselves as much as the children. It's a privilege to meet the kids and their parents.

“Swansea City is a community club and we know how important a role the club plays in the city, so for us to spend time with kids who have had some tough times this year is the least we can do.”

The event was organized by Swansea City and the nursing staff of Morriston Hospital.
