The Black Stars of Ghana have dropped four places on the FIFA men’s ranking at world level moving from 50th position to 54th position.

However, Ghana stayed at 8th position on the African continent behind first placed Tunisia, second placed Senegal, Congo DR, Morocco, Egypt, Cameroon and Nigeria.

Kwesi Appiah’s team dropped in their accumulated points for the ranking going from 659 to 596.

Black Stars missed out on the 2018 FIFA World Cup tournament having made appearances in the 2006 World Cup in Germany, 2010 edition in South Africa and the 2014 version in Brazil that was troubled with controversies.
