The truth is Ghana is a team which is dawned with talent at any given point in time and can deliver on a good day. In times, as a fan you would just need to grab a cold bottle of soft drink and let the Ghana Black Stars amaze you.

Expect the worse

Ghana is indeed dawned with talent and what the team can do can surprise you. Now. On a bad day, the team can perform abysmally. The problem fans have is that there too many emotions placed on the success or failure of the Ghana Black stars. Anytime the Stars lose a game, it will be advisory to just put aside all emotions and move on in life. Another day will surely come where the team will make you happy.

Everybody works for money

There is always talk when the Black Stars are said to take monies which some fans see as huge. That is, the appearance fees which has been $100,000 each at the last World Cup and the winning bonus which has currently been reduced to a $5000 each per win in a qualifying game. Football players are a group of people who are not guaranteed working every time they step on the pitch. The have that tendency of getting hurt which may end their careers.

In supporting the team note that these monies may add to the betterment of the life of the players. It also serve as a token of appreciation for playing for Ghana. With this point do not be too infuriated when you hear those sums being mentioned. There is that surety of you being glad if you were related or even close to any Black Star player.

Giving time and money must be seen as sacrifice

As a fan you there is always some bitterness when you go out to support team. Especially when you fly out of the country to watch a Black stars game and it ends up in a disappointment.

The fact is that a team’s chances are that you win, lose or draw. You are there to experience one of them. You may be there when a team lost that is not the end of the world. There will be a better time ahead.

Do not over jubilate

There is that tendency to be very merry and you will have that temptation to throw a party and booze the night away. You would rather celebrate with your partner or your spouse. But in anything you do, do it responsibly. It is indeed important to do it in moderation and rest assured you will be well and whole to support the Black Stars for another game. For it will be unfortunate to support the Black Stars in ill health or in a bad state.
