Muniru Sulley wants to get better following footsteps of brother Sulley Muntari
Ghana international and brother of Sulley Muntari, Muniru Sulley has aimed to emulate his elder brother in his football career.
The Steaua Bucuresti player wants to emulate the footsteps of Sulley Muntari but also bids to do more than his brother has done in football.
Sulley Muntari has some excellent moments in his football career having made three FIFA World Cup appearances for the Ghana Black Stars, won a UEFA Champions League medal and played for some to clubs including AC Milan and Inter Milan in Europe.
Muniru, a former player of Liberty Professionals and Real Madrid B acknowledged his brother Muntari’s achievement in football before disclosing his personal aims.
The Steaua Bucuresti midfielder told TV3:
“He [Sulley Muntari] is my big brother and at the same time my role model. He has achieved a lot in football. He has played for the Black Stars and a lot of European clubs and he has done well.
“My aim is to follow his footsteps. What he did in Black Stars, what he is still doing, I’m ready to do the same. I just have to concentrate on what I’m doing and pray. I think I will be more.”
Muniru Sulley who was in Ghana for the Christmas holidays showed his soft and generous side by donating to an orphanage in Kasoa.Follow @kboakye92
