Black Stars B share honours with Burkina Faso in Ouagadoudou

The Black Stars B of Ghana relinquished a two goal lead to draw 2-2 with Burkina Faso at Ouagadougou in the first leg of the Championship of African Nations qualifiers (CHAN) on Saturday.

Ghana opened the scoring in the 24th minute through striker Saddick Adams after he expertly converting from the penalty spot following a foul on Thomas Abbey in the penalty area.

Sylla Mohammed restored parity for Burkina Faso with just seven minutes into the second half but Gideon Waja shot Ghana in front in the 77th minutes.

The Black Stars could not hold on to the lead after substitute Sawadogo equalized with just 5 minutes left on the clock.

The game ended 2-2.

The return leg fixture will be played next weekend at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
